A dramaturgia busca uma contranarrativa por meio de relatos autobiográficos da autora e performer friccionados ao texto de Shakespeare. O solo se pauta em três cenas da obra original em que Ofélia aparece: a conversa com a rainha, o encontro com Hamlet e o afogamento. Paralelo a esses momentos serão apresentados episódios vivenciados e registrados durante o processo criativo. Através de um “eu narrador” tensionado a um “eu personagem” a performer pretende abordar como o simulacro comportamental associado a loucura legitima práticas de violência as mulheres ainda hoje. Para isso será evidenciado o gaslighting, tipo de violência psicológica no qual a vitima duvida da própria sanidade mental.

The dramaturgy seeks a counter-narrative through the author and performer’s autobiographical accounts, set in friction with Shakespeare’s text. The solo piece is structured around three scenes from the original work in which Ophelia appears: the conversation with the queen, the encounter with Hamlet, and the drowning. Parallel to these moments, episodes experienced and documented during the creative process are presented. Through a “narrating self” placed in tension with a “character self,” the performer aims to address how the behavioral simulacrum associated with madness continues to legitimize violent practices against women. To this end, the piece highlights gaslighting — a form of psychological abuse in which the victim is led to doubt her own sanity.
